  Our Vision

The Stop Elder Abuse Foundation seeks to raise awareness and prevent  elder abuse through interdisciplinary collaboration, education, and reporting strategies.

Our Mission Statement

Elder abuse occurs everyday and often goes undetected until it is too late.  Types of abuse include physical, emotional, financial or sexual.  The elderly are highly vulnerable as abuse can come from a family member, a caregiver, or just an opportunistic acquaintance.  The elderly have become marginalized in society’s conscience as our culture has become increasingly focused on youth and self.  The Stop Elder Abuse Foundation aims to reduce elder abuse through three powerful tactics. . .

  1. Changing hearts in our society to care enough to watch over our seniors.

  2. Instructing on how to detect elder abuse and how and where to get help

  3. Providing funding to effective local programs engaged in the battle against elder abuse
